Fairfirst Insurance, a committed advocate of Sri Lanka’s sporting community, continues its sponsorship of the Mercantile Cricket Association (MCA) “F” Division 25-Over League Tournament 2025 for the seventh consecutive year.
The much-anticipated tournament features 25 teams, split into four groups, all vying for the prestigious Fairfirst Trophy. The competition unfolds in two phases: the league stage, running until 30th March, followed by the knockout rounds. The pre-quarter-finals will take place on 5th and 6th April, with the quarter-finals on 19th and 20th April. The semi-finals are set for 26th and 27th April, leading up to the grand finale on 3rd May.
Fairfirst’s dedication to sports extends beyond sponsorship—it is a core part of the company’s culture. The company believes in fostering an environment where employees can pursue their passions while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. This approach has translated into outstanding performances across various mercantile sports tournaments. In 2024, Fairfirst teams made their mark with notable achievements:
“At Fairfirst, sports are more than just a game—they inspire discipline, determination, and camaraderie. By supporting Sri Lanka’s sporting community and our own teams, we create a workplace where passion thrives, performance excels, and success is a shared journey.” – Sandeep Gopal, CEO of Fairfirst Insurance.
