Perera & Sons Sponsors Hill Club Open Tennis Tournament for Third Consecutive Year

As part of its legacy of empowering local sporting events, Perera & Sons (P&S) recently stood as a sponsor of the Hill Club Open tennis tournament for the third consecutive year. The tournament, which was halted due to the Pandemic, resumed in 2023, thanks largely to the support of Perera & Sons and the company’s belief in nurturing grassroots level talent. The historic Hill Club, Nuwara Eliya which was established in 1876, provided the backdrop for this tournament which brought together talented players, families and tennis enthusiasts to celebrate both skill and sportsmanship,

This year’s tournament saw over 400 participants showcase their talents at one of the most highly anticipated events on Sri Lanka’s tennis calendar. The spirit of competition and community shined bright at the tournament with current National champions Apna Perera and Dinara De Silva defending their Men’s and Women’s Open Singles titles respectively.
