Serendib Flour Mills recognizes top performers and unveils strategic vision at Annual Sales Conference 2025

Serendib Flour Mills (SFML), a leader in Sri Lanka’s food manufacturing sector committed to nourishing the nation, hosted its Annual Sales Conference 2025 recently, uniting the company’s nationwide sales force to celebrate achievements, recognize excellence, and outline strategic initiatives for the year ahead.

The event featured a comprehensive review of the company’s 2024 achievements and a detailed presentation of strategic initiatives for 2025.

Through the conference, SFML celebrated successes and provided a foundation to inspire the team to reach new heights in 2025. The outstanding performance of the company’s sales force has been instrumental in SFML reinforcing its position as a leading flour supplier in Sri Lanka.

The conference was a platform to honour the company’s top-performing sales professionals who have demonstrated exceptional results in driving volume growth across key market segments. Awards were presented to exceptional individuals and teams whose contributions significantly strengthened SFML’s market position in 2024.

R. Ravi Pragash received the prestigious award for Overall Highest Volume Percentage Increase among Sales Executives, while K.T.D. Ajith Wasantha Kumara Thanthrige was recognized as the Area Sales Manager with the highest volume growth. The outstanding sales team led by Chinthaka Darshana Rajapaksha, comprising Nadan Roshan Dashana, B. Chanramohan, K.D. Champika Udesh, and W.A.S.J. Thushara, was honoured for achieving the highest collective volume increase in 2024.

Category-specific excellence was also recognized, with Sathyaseelan Hariharan and M.S. Mohamed Nayeem receiving awards for the highest volume growth in the bakery segment as Sales Executive and Area Sales Manager respectively. In the eatery segment, Inzamam Nukman Hajrin Rasheed and W.E. Chandima Priyadarshana Ekanayaka were honored for their exceptional performance.

Special recognition was presented to P. Thushara Lanka Peiris for outstanding contributions in handling general trade and key accounts, while Darshana Abeywardana Jayawickrama received appreciation for significant contributions to field sales staff training in NVQ Level 4.

A highlight of the conference was the recognition of team members who successfully completed the leadership and strategic training program conducted by the Trainers PIM Alumni Association (PIMA) of the Postgraduate Institute of Management, highlighting SFML’s commitment to continuous professional development.

Renowned motivational speaker Fahad Farook delivered an engaging session focused on maintaining momentum and morale throughout the year, providing valuable insights to inspire the sales team.
