Seylan Bank celebrates Vesak season with cultural festivities

Seylan Bank recently organized a series of traditional Vesak celebrations, beginning with its annual Bethi Gee ceremony at Seylan Tower on May 9^th 2025. The festivities were held under the esteemed patronage of Chairman – Justice Buwaneka Aluwihare, PC, alongside Director/CEO – Mr. Ramesh Jayasekara and Mrs. Jayasekara, members of the Board of Directors, valued customers, and the entire Seylan Bank family.

Extending the celebrations to the broader community, the Bank with a Heart culminated its Vesak observances on May 12^th 2025, with two remarkable events. The bank’s talented Bethi Gee ensemble was honored with an invitation to showcase their artistry at the prestigious Buddhi Rashmi Vesak Kalapaya at Gangarama, where they captivated audiences with their enchanting performance. Simultaneously, Seylan Bank marked a significant milestone by hosting its annual Maha Ice Cream Dansela for the 9^th time at the Seylan Head Office premises, continuing this beloved tradition of sharing joy and refreshment with the community during the sacred Vesak season.
