வடமத்திய மாகாண சபைக்குச் சொந்தமான BMW கார் 5 மில்லியன் ரூபாகளுக்கும் குறைவாக விற்கப்பட்டதாக தயாசிறி கூறியமை தொடர்பிலேயே, அவர் மன்னிப்பை கோரியுள்ளார்.
செய்தித்தாள்களில் வெளியிடப்பட்ட தவறான செய்திகளால் தான் தவறாக வழிநடத்தப்பட்டதாகவும், ஒரு பொறுப்பான அரசியல்வாதியாக, பதிவைத் திருத்துவதற்கு தான் முனைவதாகவும் தயாசிறி ஜயசேகர கூறியுள்ளார்.
குறித்த BMW கார் 21.8 மில்லியன் ரூபாகளுக்கு விற்கப்பட்டதாக, வட மத்திய மாகாண சபை உறுதிப்படுத்திய நிலையிலேயே, அவரின் மன்னிப்பு கோரியுள்ளமை குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
ஒட்டுமொத்த வாகன ஏல செயல்முறையில் 124 மில்லியன் ரூபாய்கள் ஈட்டியதாகவும், அது வெளிப்படைத்தன்மையுடன் நடத்தப்பட்டதாகவும் மாகாண சபை கூறியுள்ளது.
