‘Green Walk 2025’ on 12 July

- A step towards Isipathana’s Indoor Complex
Isipathana College Colombo, recently announced that ‘Green Walk 2025’, a symbolic march organised in support of the construction of the school’s Indoor Sports Complex, is scheduled for Saturday 12 July, starting at 2 p.m. from the school premises.
The construction of the state-of-the-art Indoor Sports Complex is set to be completed in 2027 to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the school.
These details were revealed during a recent press conference held in Colombo with the participation of the Old Boys (Yearly Groups), sponsors, school sectional heads including Principal Dharshana Udawatage.
The proposed indoor Sports Complex with an estimated cost of Rs. 35 million, will be equipped to host 18 Indoor Sports including Basketball, Volleyball, Throwball, Handball, Badminton, Futsal, Table Tennis, and more.
The project spearheaded by the College Administration in collaboration with the Isipathana College Old Boys’ Association, aims to nurture the sporting talents of the present and future students of the school.
The walk is scheduled to conclude with ‘Green Night 2025’, a musical concert set to take place on the same evening at 7 p.m. at the Henry Pedris Stadium.
The concert will feature an exciting lineup of popular artists to raise funds for the Indoor Sports Complex.
