குடிபோதையில் வாகனம் ஓட்டிய 309 பேர் உட்பட பலர் கைது!

நாடு முழுவதும் முன்னெடுக்கப்பட்டு வரும் விசேட குற்றத் தடுப்பு மற்றும் போதைப்பொருள் ஒழிப்பு நடவடிக்கைகளின் போது, நேற்று (18) மட்டும் குடிபோதையில் வாகனம் ஓட்டிய 309 பேர் கைது செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளனர். அத்துடன், குற்றச் செயல்களுடன் தொடர்புடைய 26 பேரும், நீதிமன்ற பிடியாணை பிறப்பிக்கப்பட்டிருந்த 185 பேரும் கைது செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளனர் சந்தேகத்தின் பேரில் மேலும் 549 பேர் கைது செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளதாகப் போலீஸ் ஊடகப் பிரிவு தெரிவித்துள்ளது. இச்சோதனைகள் தொடர்ந்து தீவிரப்படுத்தப்படும் என அதிகாரிகள் எச்சரித்துள்ளனர்.

65 வயதுக்குட்பட்ட ஓய்வுபெற்ற சிறைச்சாலை அதிகாரிகளை ஒப்பந்த அடிப்படையில் மீண்டும் பணியில் அமர்த்த சிறைச்சாலைத் துறை தீர்மானித்துள்ளது. முதலாம் மற்றும் இரண்டாம் நிலை ஜெயிலர்கள், சப்-ஜெயிலர்கள், ஜெய்லர் சார்ஜென்ட்கள், காப்பாளர்கள் (Guards), செவிலியர்கள் மற்றும் மருந்தாளர்கள் ஆகிய பதவிகளுக்காகவே இந்த நியமனங்கள் வழங்கப்படவுள்ளதாக ஊடகப் பேச்சாளர் ஏ. சி. கஜநாயக்க தெரிவித்தார். இது தொடர்பான மேலதிக விபரங்களையும் விண்ணப்ப முறைகளையும் சிறைச்சாலைத் துறையின் உத்தியோகபூர்வ இணையதளத்தில் பெற்றுக்கொள்ள முடியும் என அவர் மேலும் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார்.
