இடைத்தரகர்கள் முட்டைகளை விற்பனை செய்வதன் மூலம் பெரும் இலாபத்தை பெறுகின்றனர்.
இதனால் இந்த நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதாக அவர்கள் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளனர். சந்தையில் தற்போது முட்டை ஒன்று 28 ரூபாய் முதல் 32 ரூபாய் வரை விற்பனை செய்யப்படுகிறது.
மேலும் கடந்த சில மாதங்களாக, முட்டை அதிக விலைக்கு விற்பனை செய்யப்பட்டது.
முட்டை விலை உயர்வுக்கு இடைத்தரகர்களின் செயல்பாடுகளும் ஒரு காரணம் என்று பல தரப்பினரும் குற்றம் சாட்டியுள்ளனர்.
இந்த நிலையில், மேலும் முட்டை விலை அதிகரிப்பதைத் தடுக்கும் வகையில், சமூக ஊடகங்கள் மூலம் தினமும் முட்டை விலை குறித்து பொதுமக்களுக்குத் தெரிவிக்க பொறிமுறை ஒன்றை அமைக்க முட்டை உற்பத்தியாளர்கள் சங்கம் நடவடிக்கை எடுத்துள்ளது.
