இந்தியாவின் மத்திய அரசினால் த.வெ.க கட்சியின் தலைவர் திரு.விஜய்க்கு “Y” பிரிவு பாதுகாப்பு வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
தனிப்பட்ட பாதுகாப்பு அச்சுறுத்தலை ஆய்வுசெய்து வழங்கப்பட்ட மாநில உளவுத்துறையின் அறிக்கையின் படி மத்திய அரசால் இந்த பாதுகாப்பு வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
இவ்வகையான பாதுகாப்பு
இதற்க்கு முன் திரு.கருணாநிதி, திரு.ஸ்டாலின் அவர்கள் எதிர்க்கட்ச்சியாக இருந்த போதும் கரும்பூனை படை (BLACK CATS) எனும் பெயரில் வழங்கப்பட்டது.
இந்த கரும்பூனைப்படை பாதுகாப்பினை பிரதமர் மோடி ஆட்சிக்கு வந்தபின் VIP பாதுகாப்பாக CRPF மாற்றினார். அதில் 6வகை பிரிவுகள் உள்ளன. SPG – Special Protection Group பிரதமருக்கு மட்டும் பாதுகாப்பு, Z+, Z, Y+, Y மற்றும் X என்பனவாகும்.
